Golden Apple 2021

Recognizing Teaching Excellence

The Sherry Dailey Golden Apple Award for December was presented to teacher Tim Murphy from the Lake Havasu High School. Here are a few things his peers shared:

Tim is patient and very helpful with his students. He helps out in other areas when a class needs to be covered. He is always happy and a joy to work with. He is one of those teachers that loves kids and they love him. He will stay late or come in early to work with a student. He brings a positive energy to our school.

Tim does his best to form relationships with students and he works tirelessly to help the students as well as his colleagues. Students feel welcome in his class and they feel like they can be successful, regardless of their previous math experience.

Tim goes above and beyond every day to make connections with kids. He is the teammate we should all aspire to be.
